HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound) is a non-invasive treatment that uses ultrasound energy to lift and tighten the skin by stimulating collagen production.
HIFU delivers focused ultrasound energy deep into the skin, heating targeted areas to stimulate collagen and elastin production, resulting in firmer, more youthful-looking skin.
HIFU is commonly used on the face, neck, jawline, décolletage, and even body areas like the arms, abdomen, and thighs for skin tightening.
Most clients experience mild discomfort, such as a tingling or warming sensation during treatment. Any discomfort is temporary and subsides shortly after the session.
A session typically lasts between 30 to 120 mins minutes, depending on the treatment area.
Initial skin tightening effects can be seen immediately, but the full results develop over 2–3 months as collagen production increases.
After a HIFU treatment, your skin may be red and inflamed for 1-2 days afterwards due to the deep stimulation caused in the treatment. This can be likened to sun burn. However all downtime should subside after 3 days.
